BSD City (Bumi Serpong Damai)
The Silicon Valley of Indonesia. BSD is a massive, privately-run city within a city. It’s characterized by wide avenues, green business parks, and high-tech infrastructure. It’s where you’ll find the best modern boutique hotels and a calm, suburban pace of life that is rare in the Greater Jakarta area.
Bintaro

The best time to visit is during the dry season (May to September), when humidity is slightly lower and you can actually enjoy the outdoor malls and parks. The rainy season (October to April) can bring heavy afternoon downpours that significantly worsen traffic. Since most of Tangerang's attractions are indoors (malls, cafes, and hotels), it’s a viable destination year-round.

Getting Around Tangerang
Tangerang's planned areas (like BSD) have some of the best roads in Indonesia, but you'll still need a vehicle to get anywhere. Grab and Gojek are ubiquitous and very affordable. For a more reliable option, use Blue Bird Taxis. The Airport Rail Link is a fast, air-conditioned way to get from Tangerang/Airport into Central Jakarta in about 45 minutes. Driving yourself is not recommended unless you are used to Indonesian traffic flow.
